Exploring Emerging Tech at VivaTech 2023
Our Managing Partner Johanna Monthe and our Partner Sylviane Kokouendo, had the privilege of attending the annual VivaTech conference in Paris from June 15-17, 2023. As one of the world’s largest tech events, VivaTech brings together startups, investors, companies, and thought leaders from around the globe to network, exhibit new innovations, and discuss the future of technology.
Over the three action-packed days, our team gained valuable insights into emerging technologies and connected with key players in the European and worldwide tech scene.
The main theme this year was “Tech for Good,” with a focus on how technology can be harnessed to tackle climate change, healthcare challenges, and other societal issues. We attended thought-provoking panels on topics like AI ethics, sustainable transportation, and more.
The startup exhibition hall featured over 2,500 promising early-stage companies from all over the world. Our team met with various startups to learn about their innovations in legal tech, AI, blockchain, and other areas relevant to our firm and clients.
Overall, the VivaTech conference allowed our team to stay on top of new trends, forge partnerships, and represent Epena law as an engaged player in the international technology space. We look forward to implementing the knowledge gained at this year’s conference to better serve our clients and shape the future of law.
