Before joining the firm, Tatiana worked as an associate in tax and corporate law in a law and tax firm in Douala. She carried out legal, regulatory and governance audits of the structures she assisted, as well as
their legal secretariat.

She has taken part in webinars on private equity and fundraising as a panelist.

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in common law at the University of Buea, Tatiana undertook a master’s degree in private law at the University of Douala before enrolling in a master’s 2 in applied taxation at ISMA.

Tatiana Nkoungou is an Associate at Epena Law.

She is a member of Epena Law’s Private Equity department. Tatiana specialises in Africa-focused transactions and has assisted clients in their fundraising and financing operations. Tatiana also advises fund managers and investors on the tax implications and optimal tax structuring of their investments across Africa, often involving offshore structuring. She advises on restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. She also deals with labour law and social issues.
