Eric Monye has joined Epena law as a member of the Tax and Legal team. Within the team, he is responsible for assisting clients in his areas of expertise.
Experience
Eric first encountered the business world when working for a well-known lobbyist in Abidjan.
He then joined NSIA PARTICIPATIONS, the mixed holding company of the NSIA GROUP, the sub-regional leader in bancassurance with operations in 12 countries. During this time, he developed a passion for CIMA law, and took part in a number of major projects, including the opening of ORANGE BANK Cote d'Ivoire.
Eric can also look back on a distinguished career with the HOUDA law firm, one of the leading law firms in Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire.
Within this firm, he contributed to the success of a number of high-profile transactions. These include:
- the acquisition of the ACCOR group's hotel assets by the KASADA investment fund; and
- The conclusion of a double Metal Stream and Royalties Agreement, aimed at financing a mining operation in return for royalties.
Education
Eric holds a Master's degree in Public Law from Abidjan's Atlantic University. He also holds a certificate in Corporate Governance and an Attestation in Project Management.
